JOSEPH P. GRAM

Joe Gram was raised in Charlotte and has lived in Greensboro since 1996.  He has been in private practice since 1995.  Mr. Gram has experience in the state and federal trial and appellate courts. Mr. Gram's construction practice emphasizes representation of general contractors, subcontractors and suppliers. 

EDUCATION

Mr. Gram graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1992 with a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Political Science.  In 1995, Mr. Gram received his Juris Doctor with Honors from the University of North Carolina School of Law.  While in law school, Mr. Gram was a member of the Holderness Moot Court.

EMPLOYMENT EXPERIENCE

After law school, Mr. Gram worked for the Greensboro law firm of Hill, Evans, Duncan , Jordan & Beatty, PLLC.  In 2001, Mr. Gram became a member of that firm and remained at that firm until becoming a member of Conner Gwyn Schenck PLLC.

COURT ADMISSIONS

Mr. Gram has been admitted to the North Carolina State Bar continuously since 1995.  He is admitted to practice in the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit and the United States District Courts for the Middle and Western Districts of North Carolina .

PROFESSIONAL AFFILIATIONS

Mr. Gram is a member of the American Bar Association and its litigation section.  He is also a member of the North Carolina Bar Association and has served on that associations Construction Law Section Council.  He has served as co-chair of the Continuing Legal Education Committee of the Construction Law Section and currently serves as the Secretary for the Council. Mr. Gram also has been actively involved in the Greensboro Bar Association.  His involvement includes serving as a board member for the Young Lawyers Section and as chair of the Reading Discovery Program.  He also served as chair for the Greensboro Bar Associations Law Day activities in 2000.
