Douglas Jeremiah was raised in Endwell, NY and has lived in North Carolina since 2000. Prior to law school he worked as a Project Development Engineer with the North Carolina Department of Transportation in Raleigh. Mr. Jeremiah was responsible for managing and planning twelve highway improvement projects ranging in cost from $750K - $175M. He drafted environmental impact statements for six projects in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act. Mr. Jeremiah led an inter-disciplinary team within NCDOT and led negotiations within an inter-agency team comprised of various state and federal agencies for each project. In 2003, he obtained his professional engineering licensure in North Carolina. Mr. Jeremiah represents owners, general contractors, subcontractors, and designers in both construction litigation and contract drafting/negotiation.
